The StayStrong Foundation was established to support both the financial and most importantly the emotional needs of amputees.
The StayStrong Foundation was established by Mike McDonough and Mark Tremayne to pay it forward and give back in response to the overwhelming support I received through my recent journey in becoming an amputee. I truly believe it's simply a loss of a limb, not a loss of your life!!!
I learned through this experience through the words of my surgeon, Dr. Thomas Lee, "I was losing nothing, I was just gaining my life back."
He was certainly correct in this statement, and I feel compelled to reach out and help fellow amputees.
